Sunagakure, late at night.
Pakura stretched luxuriously in the Kazekage's Office, then rose and walked over to the window, a nostalgic look crossing her face.
Just then, a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts.
Pakura turned around and said:
"Come in."
As soon as she finished speaking, the office door creaked open. Two female shinobi entered, each carrying a baby in her arms.
The two babies looked very small, probably only a little over a year old. Their faces were so similar that they were most likely twins.
"Lord Kazekage, the young miss and young master are both asleep. Shouldn't you get some rest too?"
Pakura's gaze had already settled on the two babies. A tender smile appeared on her face as she asked:
"How did these two little ones behave today? Did they cry much?"
As Kazekage, Pakura had a great deal to handle during the day.
Moreover, she was the sort of person who preferred to handle everything herself. When she got busy, she could not look after the little ones and had to entrust them to her two most trusted subordinates.
Fortunately, the two little ones were very well behaved. Even without their mother and father beside them, they neither fussed nor cried.
They still became very excited whenever they saw their mother, though, which spared Pakura a great deal of worry.
Upon hearing the Kazekage's question, one of the female shinobi replied respectfully:
"Lord Kazekage, the young miss and young master were both very good today. They didn't fuss about wanting to see you, either. Once they'd eaten their fill and tired themselves out playing, they fell asleep."
