As Sasuke Uchiha crushed the black cubes one after another, his gaze locked onto the Third Kazekage Puppet nearby. His Mangekyō Sharingan spun wildly before finally focusing on it.
"Dōjutsu-Amaterasu!!"
As Sasuke Uchiha uttered a low cry, a mass of black flames sprang up on the puppet and quickly engulfed its entire body.
The black flames were so hot that the surrounding air began to distort the instant they appeared. After enveloping the Third Kazekage Puppet, they spread to the nearby puppets as well, reducing them to blackened debris in moments.
The Third Kazekage Puppet, however, proved remarkably resistant to the flames. Once engulfed, it released a tremendous surge of chakra, then drew the surrounding iron sand onto its body, attempting to smother the black flames by cutting off their air.
Unfortunately, Sasori knew nothing about the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan. Even as he commanded the Third Kazekage Puppet to wrap itself in layer after layer of iron sand, he could not stop the Amaterasu flames from burning.
By now, Sasori was almost losing his mind. The Third Kazekage Puppet was his proudest creation. Even though he had replaced his own body with a puppet, it still could not match the Third Kazekage Puppet's place in his heart.
Seeing that the Third Kazekage Puppet was about to burn to ashes, he poured even more chakra into it, making the normally inconspicuous Chakra Threads visible.
"Hahaha! It's useless! Once my Amaterasu flames catch you, they can't be extinguished. And that's not all-you're going to die along with your puppet!!"
The instant Sasuke Uchiha finished speaking, the black flames seemed to sense the Chakra Threads. They raced along the connections toward Sasori nearby.
