At that moment, the image of Ōnoki fighting desperately earlier flashed through Shin Uchiha's mind. In the end, he nodded in agreement.
"In that case, I'll take you there. It'll be faster that way."
Shin Uchiha had a much better impression of Iwagakure than of Kumogakure. If something like this had happened to Kumogakure, given his disposition, it would have been generous of him not to help finish them off. He certainly would not have let Tsunade go save them.
A smile appeared on Tsunade's face when she heard Shin's words.
Just as Tsunade was about to take Shizune to get ready, however, a tiny toad suddenly hopped in through the window.
The sight of the little toad made Tsunade pause briefly. Then her expression grew serious, and she asked it:
"You're a messenger from Mount Myōboku, aren't you? What's wrong? Has something happened to Jiraiya?"
Tsunade still remembered this little toad.
It delivered messages discreetly and with remarkable speed, so Jiraiya generally only used it to send intelligence when something extremely urgent came up.
Upon hearing Tsunade's question, the little toad hopped straight over to her, opened its mouth, and spat out a rolled-up slip of paper.
Without showing any disgust, Tsunade quickly picked up the slip and unfolded it.
Though the slip was small, it contained quite a lot of information. After quickly reading through it, Tsunade knitted her brows again.
Seeing this, Shin Uchiha raised an eyebrow and asked curiously:
"Tsunade, what's wrong? Has something happened on Jiraiya's end?"
At Shin's question, Tsunade simply handed him the slip and said:
"Jiraiya sent word that the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku has made a new prophecy. The final battle may happen sooner than expected, and he'll be coming over right away to take Naruto to Mount Myōboku
