"Since our Uchiha Clan inherited the Sage of Six Paths' Rinnegan, have you ever considered that we might not be his only heirs?"

"Let me start from the beginning. The Sage of Six Paths had two sons. His eldest, Indra, was the ancestor of our Uchiha Clan and possessed the Sage of Six Paths' Rinnegan. His younger son was named Asura, and he possessed the Sage of Six Paths' Sage Body."
Shin Uchiha paused and gave Sasuke a meaningful look before continuing:
"Like our ancestor Indra, Asura also founded a clan. But that clan wasn't the Uzumaki Clan-it was the Senju Clan. The Uzumaki Clan can only be considered distant relatives of the Senju Clan. Do you understand?"
Even though Sasuke had braced himself, his teacher's words still startled him.
"The Senju Clan? Then..."
