At that moment, Viserys sensed an invisible magic enveloping an area ahead from his perch on the dragon's back. He knew they were nearly there.

Looking down at the little girl, who was already panting, Viserys climbed down from King Ghidorah's back, intending to walk the last stretch with her.

Ygritte was glad to see Viserys come down to accompany her. She was already terribly frightened, but having him beside her eased her fear considerably.

"Where exactly are we going?" Ygritte looked at Viserys beside her and could not help asking again, her voice hushed. "There are bad things here. The elders say this is the singers of the forest's territory. We shouldn't have come in."

"Have you forgotten the dragon above us? Besides, we came here to meet the Children of the Forest," Viserys replied briefly.

He could already feel eyes watching them from deep within the woods. It was probably the Greenseer observing them through the eyes on the weirwoods.

At last, the Three-Eyed Crow alighted on an unusually thick weirwood. There was also a cave half concealed by vines and roots. Its entrance was so narrow that only one person could squeeze through, but after a few dozen paces, it suddenly opened up.
