"Brother." She suddenly spoke, her voice soft, as though afraid of disturbing the stillness of the night.

"Hmm?" Viserys asked, a little puzzled, turning to rest his gentle gaze on Rhaenys's face. His arm was still around her shoulders, and he could feel her delicate body against him.

"Do you think, once the Seven Kingdoms are completely pacified, we'll always be able to live peacefully like this?" Rhaenys raised her head, her purple eyes shining in the darkness, a hint of uncertainty in her voice.

Viserys fell silent for a moment. Only the sound of their breathing remained in the room.

Then Viserys gently combed his fingers through her slightly disheveled black hair and said, "What do you think? What kind of life do you want?"

"I..." Rhaenys hesitated, a blush rising to her cheeks again, but she gathered her courage and said softly, "I want to stay with you forever, just like this, with Dany and Ashara too. To have dinner together every day, ride dragons together, and... sleep together."

Viserys could not help smiling, his smile full of indulgence and tenderness.

He lowered his head and kissed Rhaenys's forehead. "We will. I promise you. Once everything is over, we'll return to Valyria. The castle we know is there, and our own people. No one will be able to disturb us."

His words sounded solemn as they echoed in the darkness, giving Rhaenys a deep sense of security.

Rhaenys murmured a soft assent, snuggled closer into his arms, and closed her eyes. Her breathing gradually steadied as she drifted off to sleep. Viserys held her, warmth welling up in his heart.

Early the next morning, Viserys was awakened by the roar of dragons
