Then King Ghidorah's middle head reared up, and a thick torrent of golden breath erupted from his jaws. The searing golden beam instantly tore through the air with the force to annihilate everything, engulfing Styr where he stood before Viserys.

Styr never even had the chance to let out one final scream. He vanished in the golden light without leaving a trace, as though he had never existed in this world.

Meanwhile, the golden breath swept onward without losing any of its power. Everything in its path dissolved into nothingness, until the destructive beam had cleaved the entire camp in two. All it left behind was a deep, dark trench, its edges gleaming like glass.

Soon, wails and screams began rising throughout the camp. Countless Free Folk had been reduced to ash and erased by the golden breath, while countless others had been struck by scattered motes of golden light, leaving them gravely wounded and near death.

Yet neither King Ghidorah's six golden, slit-pupiled eyes nor Viserys's two violet eyes held the slightest pity. Amid the camp's wreckage, only the pale, despairing faces of the survivors remained.

Facing the people in the ruined camp, Viserys spoke in a tone that brooked no argument. "Kneel and beg for mercy. Those who resist will die."

His voice was not loud, yet it reached the ears of every Free Folk survivor, striking their minds like a heavy hammer. They trembled involuntarily and bowed their heads even lower,
