The scent of blood fully unleashed Cannibal's ferocity. The pitch-black King of the Wild Dragons roared with excitement, beat his wings hard, and swooped toward another pirate ship like a heavy bank of storm clouds.
Though he was a fraction slower than Caraxes, the savage menace of the King of the Wild Dragons was far more terrifying than that of the Scarlet Blood Wyrm.
Whoosh! Without needing a reminder from Aegon, his rider, sickly green dragonfire poured forth, blanketing everything like a crack opening in the gates of hell. The heat was so intense that even the air warped.
The pirates who had jumped from the merchant ships into the sea, hoping to swim to safety, had barely made it a few yards before the sickly green dragonfire descended and engulfed them.
The seawater boiled violently in the heat. Steam mingled with thick smoke, and the screams abruptly died within it.
"Cannibal, attack that pirate ship. Sink it!" Aegon's gaze fixed unerringly on the largest warship in the fleet, clearly commanded by the pirate captain.
