The "newly fledged" Space Beast rampaged through the city, destroying one high-rise after another with every movement. Countless humans were crushed to death by flying chunks of rock. Just then, a blue giant appeared out of thin air and sent the Space Beast flying hundreds of meters with a flying kick.
The Space Beast shook its head, climbed to its feet, and looked up to see a blue giant towering between heaven and earth.
With a roar, it charged at the blue giant.
Before the blue giant could act, another kick sent the Space Beast flying again.
A red giant appeared in front of the blue giant.
Ren Chigusa, transformed into Blue Nexus, looked at the red giant before him and thought, Is that Jun Himeya?
The red giant turned toward the blue giant, nodded, and spoke telepathically. "You're Ren Chigusa, aren't you? I saw you in the memory fragments our mentor gave me."
Blue Nexus replied telepathically, "That's right. I'm Ren Chigusa. You must be Jun Himeya. I saw you in the memory fragments our mentor gave me, too."
Red Nexus asked telepathically, "Are we talking about the same mentor?"
Blue Nexus replied telepathically, "I think we are."
Red Nexus said telepathically, "It looks like our mentor wants us to fight side by side and wipe out the Space Beasts together."
Blue Nexus gave an Ultra nod.
Then both Ultras turned toward the Space Beast. Their stares made its skin crawl, and it turned to flee.
Neither Ultra could let that happen. If they let it escape, their mentor would surely laugh at them. Red Nexus leaped in front of the Space Beast, blocking its escape, and the two Ultras trapped it between them.
Red Nexus raised his hand and unleashed the Meta Field, enveloping both Ultras and the
