In the Land of Light, Rabbit Sero had been arrested for touching the Plasma Spark Tower. Seven was about to send him to Leo for training when Yang Mei appeared out of nowhere and whisked Sero away.
In an unknown region of space, Sero looked at the old man before him. "Old man, who are you? Why did you save me?"
Yang Mei smiled. "Young man, I could tell you had exceptional potential and were worth nurturing, so I rescued you."
Sero studied the ordinary-looking old man before him. "I'm grateful you saved me, but you say you want to train me? Why do I find that so hard to believe?"
Yang Mei smiled. "In that case, I'll show you a trick or two and open your eyes."
With that, he extended his palm and grasped at empty space. The enormous Ultraman Sero suddenly landed in Yang Mei's palm.
"Old man, how did you get so big?" Sero exclaimed in shock.
Yang Mei smiled. "I didn't get bigger. You got smaller."
"What? You're not pulling my leg, are you, old man? How is that possible? What kind of power is this?" Sero cried in astonishment.
Yang Mei flicked his hand, and Ultraman Sero returned to his original size.
Then Yang Mei began to grow. Moments later, he was as large as Sero, but he did not stop there. He continued growing until he stood a thousand zhang tall-over thirty-three hundred meters-then looked down at Sero.
Sero was so stunned that he could not speak for a long time. Yang Mei said, "I believe that little demonstration shook you to your very soul. I won't waste words. Well? Do you want to train under me?"
