Without Jian Haoran standing in her way, Heaven's Daughter successfully opened the gates of heaven. A scorching, formidable radiance began to sear the Wasteland.
Seeing this, Jian Haoran swept his hand out, sending a streak of sword energy across the sky and slicing it open.
Heaven's Daughter descended step by step from the Divine Kingdom, walking through the air. With the Crown of Light upon her head and the Robe of Light draped over her, she said coldly, "Ant, accept your fate."
With that, she pointed a finger, and an incomparably sharp streak of light-infused sword energy shot straight at Jian Haoran.
Jian Haoran likewise pointed a finger. Sword energy burst from his fingertip to meet the Divine Sword of Light, and the two collided and dissolved into nothing.
"Hmm. This ant has a little ability, but that's all," Heaven's Daughter said.
Light flooded the sky as she finished speaking, taking the forms of countless divine generals, each at the Seventh Realm: Ascension to Immortality.
Wielding Divine Swords of Light, the divine generals launched their attack on Jian Haoran.
Jian Haoran said, "Interesting. But if this is all you've got, aren't you underestimating me a little too much?"
With that, he abruptly spun, countless streaks of sword energy bursting from his body toward the divine generals. "Divine Sword Art: Ten Thousand Swords Return to the Origin!" Those struck crumbled to dust.
Before long, every divine general had been slain.
Jian Haoran laughed. "Show me whatever else you've got. This little ability hardly befits your divine status as Heaven's Daughter."
Heaven's Daughter remained expressionless, her gaze growing colder. She pointed at the heavens, and as though receiving some signal, the sky began to fall.
In a butcher's shop in Southern Zhao, one of two old men held a meat cleaver. Horrified,
