A month later, Xiao Feng arrived at Shaolin Temple, where Abbot Xuanci led a group of monks out to welcome him.
Xiao Feng came straight to the point. "Abbot Xuanci, what exactly happened back then? Why did you lead the heroes of Great Song in an ambush against my parents?"
Xuanci sighed. "Amitabha. I foolishly believed another man's words, and that moment of weakness led to a terrible tragedy. It is only right that you should come to confront me now, Chief Qiao."
Xiao Feng waved a hand. "We can discuss that later. Abbot, right now I only want to know whose lies you believed back then."
Xuanci said, "It was the former head of the Gusu Murong Family, the venerable Murong Bo. But he has already passed away, so there is no way to confront him."
"So that was it," Xiao Feng said. "Murong Bo was the one behind the ambush against my parents."
"Indeed, you could say that. Since the venerable Murong Bo has already passed away, let this old monk bear all the guilt alone. Xuanci waved a hand, signaling for Qiao Feng to act.

With that, he used the Dragon Seizing Skill, performing Telekinetic Object Retrieval, and activated the Northern Darkness Divine Skill to absorb Xuanci's internal energy.
