On Mount Wudang, the old Daoist Zhang Sanfeng was celebrating his hundredth birthday when a crowd of uninvited guests arrived.
"Perfected Zhang, you may not be able to kill us all before your true qi runs out!" shouted Kong Jian, one of Shaolin's three divine monks.
"Ah..." Zhang Sanfeng sighed. He was about to speak when a voice suddenly sounded in his mind. "Perfected Zhang, we haven't met for a few days, and you've already fallen this far? A few juniors have actually backed you into a corner."
"Who dares mock this old Daoist?" Zhang Sanfeng's true qi surged as he looked toward the six great sects.
His powerful true qi forced everyone from the six great sects back seven or eight steps, their expressions changing in alarm.
Seeing this, the divine monk Kong Jian said, "Does Perfected Zhang truly intend to make an enemy of the entire martial world for the sake of a wayward disciple?"
Zhang Sanfeng ignored Kong Jian and instead scrutinized the people from the six great sects, trying to find whoever had mocked him.
"Stop looking, Perfected Zhang. I'm inside your mind. You only need to communicate with me through your thoughts. There's no need to speak," the system said.
Oh, I see. What sort of thing are you, to be able to hide inside my mind? Zhang Sanfeng asked silently.
"I'm not a thing. I'm here to help you embark on the Great Dao of immortality," the system said.
What? You have a method for attaining immortality? Zhang Sanfeng asked in shock.
"Indeed. Perfected Zhang, your aptitude is unparalleled throughout history. If you weren't constrained by this world, you would have attained the Dao and embarked on the path of immortal cultivation long ago," the system said.
