"How about you let go of me first, and we go get something to eat? I'm hungry," Bai Chen said softly.
Hearing that, Lin Jingchen reluctantly let go of Bai Chen.
They looked at each other and smiled. Nothing could have been happier than this.
"Come on, I'll take you somewhere," Lin Jingchen said with a smile.
"Hmm? Where?" Bai Chen asked in confusion.
"My home, the Lin Family Ancestral Home. I've always wanted to take you there, but I never found the chance. You don't have anything planned tomorrow, do you?" Lin Jingchen asked.
Usually, only members of the main family could visit the Lin Family Ancestral Home. Other guests and members of the branch families could only go to the new residence.
Bai Chen wasn't sure what Lin Jingchen meant, but he nodded and answered, "Yeah, tomorrow's Sunday, so I don't have anything planned. Why?"
Lin Jingchen asked gently, "Then would you like to come back to the ancestral home with me tonight? It's okay if you don't want to. I'll take you back to your dorm after we eat."
Although he put it that way, Lin Jingchen really hoped Bai Chen would agree. He had another business trip on Monday and wouldn't be back for quite a while, so he didn't have much time to spend alone with Bai Chen.
