Naturally, he had written those things in the Diary on purpose. He certainly wasn't someone with no emotional intelligence.
He had specifically mentioned Konan to see whether she would do something different from the original story, such as coming to Konoha or going somewhere else.
That would let him determine whether Konan owned a Diary.
His tests couldn't be too obvious. His first reason for repeatedly mentioning Tsunade earlier had naturally been to complain, while his second had been to provoke her.
But Tsunade hadn't reacted at all so far, which most likely meant she didn't have one.
That left him with no choice but to switch targets, and now he had set his sights on Konan. Mentioning her when he saw the ocean had been a casual segue, a convenient chance to bring her up without drawing too much attention.
If something really did change and she came, he could meet this angel while he was at it.
But the others didn't see it that way. Those words sounded more like concern.

Tsunade had just returned home. After seeing this, she tightened her grip on the door, and the handle cracked under the force of her arm!
Tsunade clenched her hand again. There were now plenty of wooden fragments in her palm, but rather than piercing her skin, they were crushed straight into sawdust. Her eyes narrowed, and the corners of her mouth twitched.
"That brat really has a wandering eye!"
They clearly had no relationship at all. They hadn't even met, so why was she so angry?
Her own feelings baffled Tsunade.
Just then, Shizune returned as well, carrying Tonton in one hand and a small bag in the
