With that, everyone left the Chunin Exams venue, squeezed through the noisy crowd, and found a relatively secluded spot to wait.
From there, they could see people leaving the Chunin Ninja Exams arena. With so few people around, a loud shout would easily get someone's attention, making it an ideal place to wait.
Tenten rubbed her stomach and asked Luo Mang, "How long do we have to wait?"
"At least until Hinata comes out. We can't just leave after promising her we'd wait."
"Ugh, I'm so hungry."
Tenten rubbed her stomach, looking utterly miserable.
Hearing that, Ino Yamanaka gave a rare nod of agreement with Tenten.
"Me too. The matches went on all day, and that little break at noon wasn't nearly enough time to eat."
There had, of course, been a lunch break, but it wasn't meant for the spectators. It was for the nobles. All they had to do was step back into the shaded area, where meals were already waiting for them.
Those in the spectator stands had far more to do. If they wanted a meal, they had to leave their seats and find somewhere to eat. By the time they got back, several matches would probably have finished.
So they had only stretched a little to keep their backsides from going numb, then gone back to waiting.
