Time slowly passed as the two talked and Luo Mang shared his story.

"Well, something's come up, so I'll leave first. I'll let Teacher Qiao handle the rest of your instruction."

Sand nodded, then left immediately after saying that. He already had an excuse prepared, and a fairly reasonable one at that.

After all, Sand had been the one sparring with them, while Qiao had taken notes on the sidelines. As the saying went, an onlooker saw things more clearly. The two Jonin were close in strength, but the one watching from the side had a clearer view.

So having her teach them was perfectly reasonable.

Luo Mang, who was still chatting on his phone nearby, froze for a moment when he heard that.

After a brief pause, he quickly recovered. Most likely, Sand was going to report what had happened. Luo Mang didn't mind. He had come hoping they could help spread the word about his identity anyway.

"All right, go ahead."

Qiao didn't refuse, naturally playing along.

To Luo Mang, these little moves made it blatantly obvious that they wanted to pass along information. Rather than expose them, he played dumb and pretended he hadn't noticed.

Temari noticed too, but she merely opened her mouth before closing it again. They were on someone else's turf, so it was best not to say too much.

"Luo Mang, you're amazing."

Hearing the praise, Luo Mang turned to look. Temari was gazing at him with admiration.

She had just learned that Luo Mang was a war orphan raised by villagers in Konoha.

An outsider wouldn't have received resources to support his training, which meant he had trained entirely on his own. Yet he had reached this level of strength. His talent went without saying, but he must have worked hard too.
