This was a small town in the western Southern District, with a population of around a hundred thousand.
During yesterday's Meteorite Disaster, a Super Meteorite had struck the very center of Tiansha City.
Fortunately, before the meteorite hit, Tiansha City's Espers had joined forces to destroy most of it, leaving only a small fragment to strike the ground.
Even so, it had caused tremendous destruction. Half of Tiansha City had been destroyed, with over ten thousand dead or injured!
Luckily, many of them were Espers.
If an ordinary city without Espers or any means of defense had been struck by a meteorite like that, the casualties would have been even worse.
Now, Tiansha City was rushing to rebuild the city and restore its homes.

A squad of guards was keeping watch on the walls.
After the meteorite impact, the Superpower General Bureau had declared a nationwide level-one state of emergency. Every city had to maintain a twenty-four-hour watch to prevent any unforeseen incidents.
Local Esper Bureaus were all required to devote their full efforts to the cities' post-disaster reconstruction.
But the local Esper Bureaus had limited personnel to begin with. In some places, the entire bureau had even been wiped out by the meteorite impact. How could they have anyone left to help?
Besides, not much time had passed since the previous Meteorite Disaster.
The previous Meteorite Disaster had already caused considerable damage. Many places had not fully recovered before another Meteorite Disaster struck, devastating the populace.
Even if the Superpower General Bureau wanted to coordinate relief, so many cities across the country had suffered disasters that it could not possibly attend to every place in such a short time.
