After finishing all of this, the Sage of Six Paths appeared in another space.
This space was a barren desert strewn with jagged rocks and blackened scorch marks. The sky hung dark and heavy, as though it might collapse at any moment.
At the center of this wasteland, two figures darted past each other and clashed at astonishing speed, flashes of ninjutsu exploding around them.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
A sharp cry rang out. A handsome black-haired young man in Uchiha clan attire, his face fierce with fighting spirit, rapidly formed hand seals and spat out an enormous, blazing fireball. Its heat warped the air as it thundered forward with enough force to incinerate everything in its path.
It was Uchiha Izuna.
His opponent was Tobirama Senju, a stern-faced middle-aged man with silver hair and red eyes, clad in blue armor.
Faced with the enormous fireball roaring toward him, Tobirama's gaze remained cold, without the slightest trace of panic.
His hands moved through just four seals.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
At his low shout, a massive torrent of water materialized out of thin air, gathering into a water dragon that charged toward the fireball.
The azure water dragon shot forward like an arrow loosed from a bow, tearing through the air and slamming head-on into the incoming fireball.
Boom!
The blazing fireball and densely compressed water dragon collided violently in midair, producing a deafening explosion.
The opposing forces of fire and water violently canceled each other out, sending up vast clouds of scalding steam. In an instant, the steam enveloped the area and concealed both combatants. Only the violent clash of chakra and the ringing of ninja tools continued to echo from within!
Clearly, Tobirama Senju and Uchiha Izuna, bitter enemies in life, had already been fighting
