There were differences in strength even among the Otsutsuki.
Had Otohime taken Naruto's full-force kick head-on, her head would probably have spun three times like a top.
But the one standing here now was Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.
Isshiki's physical toughness was beyond anything Otohime, who leaned more toward being a "mage," could match.
To Isshiki, Naruto's kick, powerful enough to split mountains and shatter stone, felt like nothing more than a slightly stronger breeze brushing his cheek. It did not even warrant turning his head.
"Is that... all you've got?"
Isshiki's voice was cold and mocking. He slowly raised his right hand, curling his fingers into a claw as he reached for Naruto's right leg before Naruto could fully pull it back.
Yet, just as his palm was about to touch Naruto's leg-
Naruto seemed to become an intangible phantom.
Isshiki's hand passed straight through him without resistance, grasping nothing.
"Hmm? A space-time dōjutsu?"
A flicker of understanding crossed Isshiki's eyes. His right eye could see that Naruto had not truly disappeared, but had entered another space.
Through his right eye's ability, he clearly "locked onto" Naruto's position within that interstitial space.
Unfortunately, he doesn't have my Kāma on him.
A trace of regret arose in Isshiki's heart.
If Naruto had Isshiki's Kāma inside him, Isshiki could reach directly across space and forcibly drag him out.
That was one of the abilities that gave him absolute control over those who bore his Kāma.
Naruto, intangible within the Kamui Dimension, watched Isshiki's right eye "staring" directly at him as though it could pierce space. An inexplicable chill crept over him, as if his opponent really could ignore the spatial barrier and punch him straight in the face.
The feeling of being completely seen through and locked onto was terrible.
