Sunlight streamed through the broad windows, illuminating the gleaming floor and the large desk.
The faint scents of ink and paper lingered in the air, but at that moment, an invisible, almost explosive tension hung even more heavily over the room.
Hyuga Hiashi sat upright in the spacious chair that belonged to the Hokage.
His expression was calm, his hands folded on the desk. His pure Byakugan eyes seemed vacant, yet they appeared capable of seeing straight into people's hearts as he quietly regarded the two uninvited guests standing before his desk.
