Anrokuzan was not dead.
The tip of Naruto's sword stopped an inch short of his throat. Its golden light shone on Anrokuzan's deathly pale face, illuminating the unfocused pupils in his sunken eyes.
Naruto frowned and sheathed his sword.
He had nearly forgotten that Anrokuzan had already absorbed the seal Minato Namikaze had left behind.
If he killed him, the seal would collapse in an instant, and the torrent of the dragon vein would sweep him, an outsider, straight back to his original time and space.
He looked down at Anrokuzan, who lay limp before the Control Core.
