Yui learned that the Nine-Tails transfer had been moved up to three days away and decided to strengthen herself before the coming conflict. In Kumogakure, the Third Raikage grew furious over slow progress in the Land of Whirlpools and demanded to confront the commander overseeing the campaign.

• After the girls fell asleep, Nai Hyuga told Yui that Tsunade had warned of a major move by outside ninja and that the Nine-Tails transfer was now scheduled for three days later.

The Raikage learned that Sunagakure’s blockade plan against the Land of Whirlpools could give the Uzumaki Clan time to destroy its Sealing Jutsu, so he decided to end their alliance and act himself. He left Kumogakure to challenge Eight-Tails Gyuki before heading to the Land of Whirlpools.
