A pillar of earth formed in his hands, and without the slightest hesitation, he hurled it at the strange white entity ahead.
But Ōnoki felt no feedback from the earth pillar striking anything.
Upon realizing this, he wasted no time. His figure flashed as he swiftly retreated.
Barely half a second after he left his original position, the strange white entity passed straight through the earth pillar and lunged at him again.

"Is this... a ghost?" he couldn't help murmuring.
Seeing this, he hesitated no longer and formed a triangle with his hands.

A cone-shaped white barrier formed in front of Ōnoki and shot toward the strange white entity ahead.
"Let's see if you can withstand my Dust Release!"
But he still felt no feedback from the ninjutsu in his hands. Before his eyes, the strange white entity passed through his Dust Release attack and came within inches of his body.
Ōnoki's expression darkened, and he swiftly put distance between himself and the strange white entity.
"It has no physical form..." It really was like a ghost.
"But as long as I don't let it hit me, it shouldn't be able to do anything!" Ōnoki immediately came up with a countermeasure.
"Let's see whose chakra runs out first-yours or mine."
And so, the two figures floating in the sky continued their chase.
Because of this, Ōnoki had no time to deal with the other two.
