The Sword Aura unleashed by Hakutaku was at least several times larger than what Wave Breaker had produced earlier.
The Fire Release Sword Aura brought a little light to the silent, dark night sky. The samurai watching everything unfold from the other side were equally startled.
"Captain... Captain, Lord Rengo seems to be losing?"
A samurai behind him asked in a trembling voice, "What should we do now?"
The Patrol Guard Captain grew increasingly grim. Naturally, he knew Lord Rengo was losing.
He had never expected that woman to be a ninja, let alone one who could fly.
At this rate, Lord Rengo had no chance of winning.
It was not that he doubted Lord Rengo's strength. Rather, he had reached that conclusion precisely because he understood the weaknesses of samurai.
He hesitated briefly, then made up his mind.
