Struck by the ice needle, the Black-Robed Ninja froze in an instant.
Bang! With a burst of white smoke, the Black-Robed Ninja vanished before Nai Hyuga's eyes.
"A Shadow Clone..." Nai Hyuga's expression grew grim. She formed another ice needle in her mouth, ready to fire.
Just then, a cold gleam flashed beside her. Nai Hyuga paused, stopped her Ninjutsu, and tilted her head slightly.
A Kunai flew past, grazing her hair. In the blink of an eye, dozens of Black-Robed Ninjas closed in from all sides, surrounding Nai Hyuga.
Danzo froze briefly and looked back. Seeing his subordinates, he relaxed a little. Good thing I called for reinforcements earlier. Otherwise, I really would have died here today.
"Hold this woman back for me, and keep casualties to a minimum!"
Danzo shouted his orders. Enduring the stabbing pain throughout his body, he forced his legs to move, trying to leave.
Nai Hyuga glared darkly at the dozens of figures surrounding her. "Of all the times to show up, you had to come now!"
Steeling herself, Nai Hyuga formed hand seals. After running a short distance, she stopped abruptly and stamped one foot against the ground. In an instant, Ice Spikes erupted from below, shooting toward the people in front of her.

"Get out of the way!" a Black-Robed Ninja in front of Nai Hyuga shouted. Everyone scattered.
"Perfect!" Nai Hyuga's gaze sharpened. She sprang off the ice and resumed her pursuit of Danzo a short distance away.
"Damn it, we fell for it!" Seeing his subordinates frightened off by the Ninjutsu, the lead Black-Robed Ninja flew into a rage. "What are you standing around for? Get after her!"
"Lord Danzo must not die!"
With a few swift movements, Nai Hyuga caught up to Danzo
