"The fact that you two can fly is what makes me envious!"
Nai Hyuga turned her head, ignoring Orochimaru as she looked through the stone doorway instead.
"Can we go in now?" she asked Yui.
With a hand under her chin, Yui flew up to the stone doorway, craned her neck, and activated her Byakugan to examine the interior. After a long while, she sighed, looked at the two beside her, and shook her head.
"Yui, did you find something?" Curious about her silence, Orochimaru asked, "Is there some kind of danger?"
Yui lowered her voice and said slowly, "From what I can see, there's a dark, stone-brick passage behind the door. My initial assessment is that this entire ruin really might be standing on end."
"Looks like we're in trouble now."
"Oh?" Orochimaru's interest stirred. He used Earth Release to extend the existing passage and made his way beneath the stone doorway.
He stopped below it to observe for a while, then nodded thoughtfully. "Staying here won't solve anything. Why don't we go inside and investigate? We have to go in eventually anyway."
With that, he hesitated no longer. Under the two women's gazes, he leaped up and landed in the passage beyond the stone door. Chakra clung to the soles of his feet, anchoring them firmly to the wall and keeping him steady.
"There's no danger in here. Come on in!" Orochimaru poked his head out and glanced at the two still hesitating outside.
"Well..." Yui and Nai Hyuga exchanged a glance, then nodded and put their hesitation aside. Using Flying Ninjutsu, they flew through the stone doorway, attaching chakra to their soles to grip the passage floor tightly.
