Nai Hyuga frowned as she said this, and Yui looked stunned when she heard it.
"An alternate space?" she murmured. Considering her current situation and the sense of connection she had felt when signing the Summoning Contract, perhaps Nai Hyuga's theory was the right one?
"An alternate space... an alternate space..." Yui repeated to herself, gradually sinking into thought. As she recalled the Totsuka Blade Orochimaru had mentioned to her, a startling idea began to take shape in her mind.
But before she could think any further, something bumped against her legs with a thud. The strange sensation interrupted Yui's thoughts, and she stared in surprise at the indentation in the fabric covering her legs.
In that startled moment, she glanced up and noticed that the familiar figure nearby had disappeared. Only then did she realize what had happened.
"Big Bear, is that you?"
Nai Hyuga was surprised too. She stared at the indentation in Yui's clothing and could not help frowning.
"What's going on with this bear?"
"Hey, hey!" Big Bear called out softly, then slowly became visible as the Invisibility Technique faded.
Big Bear looked up at Yui with a resentful gaze. "Oh, Miss Yui! Why did you stop halfway?"
At Big Bear's words, Yui gave a speechless smile. I haven't even scolded this bear for interrupting my thoughts, and now I'm the one being told off.
Seeing Yui smile for no apparent reason left Big Bear puzzled. After a moment of distraction, Big Bear asked, "Miss Yui, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, just a few things..." Yui stopped herself before the words could slip out, then shook her head helplessly. "It's nothing. Let's go!"
With that, she turned away, no longer intending to linger, and headed toward the entrance with Nai Hyuga.
