Yui stirred from her daze, forcing herself to become a little more alert. Everything she saw was shrouded in darkness. Black mist filled her surroundings, limiting visibility to perhaps fifty or sixty meters.
"What is this place?" A huge question flashed through her mind.
Something about this space felt familiar, as though she had seen it somewhere before.
As her awareness slowly returned, she soon began recalling everything that had happened. "Right, I was testing that purple mist..."
"I just didn't expect to fall victim to it after all. Then... am I dreaming now?"
The thought gave Yui a headache. She moved her arms a little, instinctively trying to rub between her brows.
But the moment she moved, she froze.
"Something's wrong..." Sensing something strange about her body, she abruptly turned her head to look straight ahead.
Yet black mist obscured everything in front of her, making it impossible to see clearly.
Yui could feel something restraining her. Something like a ball of water pressed against her chest, making it difficult to breathe.

"Nai?" Yui froze, her struggles coming to a halt.
Thinking she must have seen wrong, she blinked in bewilderment before confirming that the person before her really was Nai.
Through the fabric, she could feel Nai Hyuga's steady breathing and vibrant heartbeat. This meant that Nai was truly alive.
But hadn't she fallen unconscious under the purple mist's influence? Why was Nai Hyuga in front of her?
