"That does seem to be a problem..." Yui lowered her eyes in thought. "How am I supposed to tell whether the Black Mist Vortex I find leads to the Red Ant Desert?"
As she recalled, the Black Mist Vortex Nai Hyuga had taken her to seemed no different from any of the others she had seen. That ruled out distinguishing them by appearance.
Was there any other way?
After thinking it over, Yui shook her head. "I'll leave that aside for now and worry about it once I find a Black Mist Vortex!"
"At worst, I can send another Shadow Clone in to scout." Although her current chakra reserves would only allow her to create one Shadow Clone, at least she would have a chance to test it.
Yui chose to turn left and continued along the rock wall. With any luck, she would come across a Black Mist Vortex before too long.
With her direction chosen, Yui hesitated no longer. Wielding the "tool" in her hand, she began advancing one step at a time...
Time flew by. Yui looked back at the passage stretching out of sight and began to wonder whether her luck was simply too poor.
"I've been following this wall for so long without seeing a single Black Mist Vortex. Is my luck really that bad? Did I choose the wrong direction?" Yui was at a loss.
She could hardly go back and carve out a path in the other direction now! That would waste far too much time.
After a few sighs, she chose to keep moving forward. What if a Black Mist Vortex was just a little farther ahead? Giving up so easily might mean missing her chance.
