Yui froze at the handwriting on the scroll. Wasn't that her own handwriting? How had it ended up on this scroll?
Though puzzled, Yui still read everything on the scroll carefully. As she read, her expression shifted through surprise, wonder, confusion, and shock.
After her expression had changed several times, she finished reading and looked away.
"...I never thought this spatial passage was actually created through the Mirror." Yui stared at the mass of shadow before her, slightly dazed. She hadn't expected the Mirror to have an ability like this.
When she had tested the Mirror's functions before, she had only discovered its ability to reflect scenes from the Black Mist Space. She hadn't expected it to conceal a deeper function. It really had caught her by surprise.
"I should have figured this out sooner! Still, it's a good thing Nai Hyuga discovered it." Yui rubbed the space between her brows. As for who had grasped the hand her Shadow Clone had reached out earlier, she had found that answer in the scroll too. "Heh, it was me..."
She felt rather helpless about that as well. She hadn't expected the Shadow Clone she had sent into the Black Mist Vortex to return to the Red Ant Desert and even find Nai Hyuga.
That revelation had shocked her even more than the appearance of the spatial passage in front of her.
She wondered what would happen if she encountered another Black Mist Vortex, entered it with her original body, and returned to the Red Ant Desert that way.
Would I die? Or would I survive? What would happen to the other me still in the Red Ant Desert? Would she become an empty shell? She shook her head and put those thoughts aside for now.
Right now, she needed to think
