Yui lowered her eyes in thought. The spatial passage had grown larger for no apparent reason, and she did not know whether Nai Hyuga on the other side had noticed the same anomaly.
If Nai Hyuga had not noticed, that meant the spatial passage was only expanding on one side. That would be troublesome; she would probably have no idea where to begin investigating the cause.
If Nai Hyuga knew the spatial passage was growing, however, things became rather interesting.
She thought there were two possible reasons why the other woman knew perfectly well that the spatial passage was expanding yet had not passed along such important information. One was that she had been stunned and had yet to react.
But she did not think the other woman would react that way. The other explanation was far more likely: she was controlling the Mirror's expansion and simply had no time to explain!
Yui leaned toward the latter explanation.
That would also explain why there had been no response from Nai Hyuga even though the spatial passage had grown so much.
