Four days later, in the underground alchemy factory.
Huge steam pipes crisscrossed overhead with a low rumble. White steam occasionally hissed from gaps in the valves, leaving the entire space hazy, hot, and damp. Like a tireless black serpent, the conveyor belt wound through hundreds of workstations.
Luowu stood on the second-floor observation platform. Below him, the entire production process was divided into two distinct halves.
At the very start of the assembly line, twenty young Druids stood around a huge circular extraction pool. Gone was their leisurely, carefree manner from the forest; their expressions were solemn.
A large quantity of tranquility flower petals soaked in the pool. As the lead Druid chanted, the others extended their hands in unison, their palms glowing a gentle emerald green as they pressed them against the copper amplifiers embedded in the pool walls.
Under the catalyzing effect of nature divine arts, the water churned violently. The medicinal properties within the petals were activated and blended together, and the cloudy liquid visibly turned crystal clear, as though it had been bathed in moonlight for seven days and nights.
Next, this batch of basic raw extract, freshly "activated by divine arts," was pumped into pipes and sent to the next stage.
There, the scene changed completely.
The alchemical machinery Valerius had designed took over everything. Automated filling machines clicked rhythmically, pouring the medicinal liquid into rows of glass bottles. Human apprentices beside them worked at lightning speed to insert corks. Mechanical arms then pressed down, sealing the bottles with melted wax before the conveyor carried them to the packing area.
The entire process flowed seamlessly. Even the Druids became tense and efficient in this atmosphere.
"Incredible," Luowu murmured as he watched the finished products stream out.
He watched the final stage-the workers slammed lids onto
