Vogel's gray eyes fixed on the wound in Alex's abdomen.

There, the armor plates seemed alive, forcibly sealing the injury with something savage and blasphemous about them.

"This is..." Vogel murmured softly, seemingly forgetting he was on a battlefield. "Your armor is drinking your blood? Oh, heavens! What a marvelous symbiotic relationship, what an expensive-"

A furious shout cut off the Viscount's next words.

Alex drove off the ground, hurtling into Vogel again like a cannonball fired from its barrel.

A brutally heavy headbutt slammed into Vogel's face.

The blow was vicious.

Even through his helmet, Vogel felt the world spin. His nasal bone cracked, tears spilled uncontrollably, and he staggered backward.

"Protect his lordship!"

Two Steel Scale Knights were horrified. They immediately raised their Vulture Shields and tried to attack Alex from both sides, forcing this rabid dog
