Ch. 101Failed Ambush

Nie Yun saved his father from Ning King’s counterattack, recovered with Healing Qi, and led his companions toward the stone stele after it opened a passage out of the Hall of Confusion. Nie Yun escaped into the passage, but Ning King and the other demonkin pursued them inside.

  • Ning King repelled the ambush and struck Nie Yun when Nie Yun shoved Nie Xiaotian out of danger.
  • The Hall of Confusion shook, giving Nie Xiaotian and Nie Yun a chance to flee, and Nie Yun recovered from his wounds with Healing Qi.
  • Nie Yun carried Nie Xiaotian and Luo Zhanhao toward the stone stele, where Luo Qingcheng revealed a passage out of the Hall of Confusion.
  • Nie Yun sent Luo Zhanhao and Nie Xiaotian into the passage, then slipped inside as Ning King attacked.
  • Ning King, Tong King, and the third demonkin dove into the passage after Nie Yun.

Ch. 102The Fog Grows Thicker — Second Update

  • Nie Yun discovered that Tracking Qi still let him see through the thick fog and recognized the mechanism traps ahead.
  • Nie Yun led his companions around the traps, then left to draw Ning King and Tong King toward them.
  • Ning King and Tong King vowed to stay together and ignore any gold bars they encountered.
  • Nie Yun and an accomplice pretended to lay out another gold-brick lure and discussed how to handle the demons.
  • Ning King and Tong King overheard the plan, decided not to fall for it, and moved forward together to capture the humans.

Ch. 103The Seal

Nie Yun used the tomb’s mechanisms to trap Ning King and Tong King, then led the group to the Luoqu Grand Hall, where a Supreme Imprint blocked the entrance. Luo Qingcheng’s blood activated the seal, and a voice announced that someone had finally arrived.

  • Tong King, Ning King, and a demonized man charged between the gold bars and triggered a barrage of arrows that killed the demonized man and wounded the two kings.
  • Ning King tried to escape, but he and Tong King triggered a corrosive acid trap and were badly injured.
  • Nie Yun revealed himself, mocked the kings, and triggered another mechanism before collecting the gold bars and rejoining Luo Zhanhao and the others.
  • Nie Yun led the group onward to the Luoqu Grand Hall, which Luo Zhanhao identified as the tomb’s core, but they found it empty.
  • Nie Xiaotian discovered a powerful seal at the entrance, and Nie Yun identified it as a Supreme Imprint that might respond to Luo Qingcheng’s blood.
  • Luo Qingcheng dropped her blood onto the seal, shaking the hall and prompting a voice to say that someone had finally come.

Ch. 104Killing Array (First Update)

Nie Yun and the others entered the Luo Family ancestor’s sealed hall, while Ning King and Tong King were trapped outside and waited to ambush them. Inside, a chessboard appeared and the ancestor revealed that only one of the nine passageways was safe; the other eight contained deadly Killing Arrays.

  • A voice-sealing inscription recognized Luoqu’s descendants and opened the seal, allowing Nie Yun and the others to enter before it closed behind them.
  • Ning King attacked the seal, but his power could not break it, so he and Tong King decided to wait outside and ambush the group when they emerged.
  • Luo Qingcheng worried about the demon men guarding the entrance, but Nie Yun said the treasure would make them strong enough to face their pursuers.
  • Nie Yun approached the nine stone pillars, causing a platform bearing an unfinished chess game to rise from the floor.
  • The ancestor’s voice explained that turning the pillars opened nine passageways, but eight contained Killing Arrays capable of killing even an early-stage Supreme expert.

Ch. 105The Chess Game, Second Update

Nie Yun and the others faced Luoqu’s final test: solve a chess endgame to learn which of nine passages was safe. After they failed to understand the board and considered testing passages one by one, Nie Yun realized they might not need to solve the chess game at all.

  • Luoqu explained that the group had to make one move that revived the white pieces’ position within half an hour to learn the safe passage.
  • Luo Qingcheng asked Nie Yun about his chess skills, but he admitted he could not understand the board; Luo Qingcheng and Nie Xiaotian also failed to solve it.
  • Feng Xiao proposed entering passages one by one and using each person’s fate to test them, but Nie Yun rejected the plan.
  • Nie Yun urged everyone to study the board for clues, and Nie Xiaotian gathered the group around it.
  • Nie Yun realized he had been focusing on winning the chess game instead of identifying which passage led to life.

Ch. 106Everyone's Doubts, Third Update

Nie Yun used Tracking Qi to inspect all nine passages and identify the seventh hole from the left as the safe route to the treasure. His companions then confronted him about his many abilities, and Nie Yun admitted he was a Tracker, prompting speculation that he had six Dantians and a low-grade royal bloodline.

  • Nie Yun realized Tracking Qi could see through the mist and reveal the traps in the passages, making it unnecessary to solve the chess game.
  • Nie Yun sent Tracking Qi through all nine holes and found that the seventh hole from the left was the only safe path and contained the treasure.
  • Nie Xiaotian asked how Nie Yun could see through the mist, and Nie Yun revealed that he was a Tracker.
  • Nie Xiaotian, Luo Zhanhao, and Feng Xiao recalled Nie Yun's other abilities, including Beast Taming, storage, healing, and alchemy.
  • Luo Zhanhao concluded that Nie Yun might have six Dantians and a low-grade royal bloodline.

  • Nie Yun warned the group to keep his abilities secret, and Luo Zhanhao, Feng Xiao, Yang Yan, and the others swore upon their Qi Seas not to reveal them.

  • Luo Zhanhao asked Nie Yun to store the treasures, and Nie Yun collected the valuable items in the hall.
  • Luoqu ordered his descendants to kowtow, and Nie Yun, Luo Zhanhao, Luo Qingcheng, Nie Xiaotian, Yang Yan, and Feng Xiao knelt before the coffin.

  • The coffin opened, revealing the Tianji Sword, which Luoqu said was at least a High-grade Royal Weapon and connected to a great secret.
  • Luoqu explained that he was not buried in the tomb and told the group not to return, then his recorded voice vanished.
  • As Nie Yun prepared to leave with the others, a figure grabbed the Tianji Sword and rushed toward the exit.

Ch. 110Betrayal (Third Update)

Feng Xiao betrayed Nie Yun’s group, stole the Tianji Sword, and took Luo Qingcheng’s blood, allowing Ning King and Tong King to enter the sealed hall. With the group trapped between the demons’ threat and the danger of collapsing the cave, Nie Yun pretended to negotiate and asked how Feng Xiao had been controlled.

  • Feng Xiao attacked Luo Qingcheng, took her blood, and fled with the Tianji Sword as the group realized he had betrayed them.
  • Nie Yun concluded that Feng Xiao’s blood would let Ning King and Tong King break the seal, and decided the group had to leave the passage despite the danger.
  • Ning King and Tong King confronted the group in the hall and threatened to use a Supreme talisman at the stone gate unless they surrendered the treasures.
  • Nie Yun said he would hand over the treasures if the demons answered his questions, then asked when they had controlled Feng Xiao.
