They were the Imperial Dragon Soul Engineer Corps, the Terror Claw Soul Engineer Legion, the Xiong Jun Soul Engineer Corps, the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Corps, the Evil Lord Soul Engineer Corps, and the Royal Soul Engineer Corps.
Of these, the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Corps consisted entirely of women, while the Royal Soul Engineer Corps remained stationed in the Imperial City year-round. Unless the emperor of the Sun Moon Empire personally led a campaign, it generally did not mobilize.
Each soul engineer corps typically had a commander and a deputy commander, with a force of three hundred to five hundred members. Every member had to be at least a Soul Ancestor.
A soul engineer legion of several hundred, equipped with Linked Soul Tools, could unleash terrifying power on the battlefield.
The requirements for a soul engineer corps were not particularly high: a Level 9 Soul Engineer as commander, and a level 8 as deputy would suffice.
However, anyone capable of commanding a soul engineer legion of the Hand of National Protection stood worlds apart from other Level 9 Soul Engineers in strength.
The threshold for becoming a legion commander was extremely high.
They could not have relied on drugs or overdrawn their potential. They had to reach Titled Douluo through normal cultivation while also advancing to Level 9 Soul Engineer. Age was another rigid requirement: they could not be too old.
Those three conditions alone ruled out ninety-nine percent of the Sun Moon Empire's soul engineers.
