Life in the Star Dou Great Forest

Xiao Wu grew up under the protection of her mother, Da Ming, and Er Ming near the Lake of Life. Both of her parents were hundred-thousand-year soul beasts, but her father disappeared after entering the forest’s core region. Her mother had taken human form, visited human society, and returned with stories that inspired Xiao Wu’s desire to explore it herself 26 27.

Her first encounter with humans occurs when she follows Er Ming and finds Qian Daoliu’s party. Rather than remain on the Titan Giant Ape’s shoulder, she approaches the visitors directly and proudly announces her cultivation. Er Ming immediately raises his aura to protect her 26. When Qian Daoliu proposes a future involving cooperation between humans and soul beasts, Xiao Wu voices her trust in him and Bibi Dong 29.

Rescue and Apprenticeship

An eighty-thousand-year Dark Demon Evil God Tiger attacks Xiao Wu and her mother near the Lake of Life. Her mother repeatedly shields them with Invincible Golden Body, but the tiger exploits a gap in the protection and wounds her with its Evil God Hook. Xiao Wu cannot stop the strike; Jiang Mo intervenes as her mother tries to send her toward Da Ming and Er Ming 31.

Her mother needs treatment outside the forest, but Xiao Wu refuses to be left behind. Qian Daoliu uses the Chaos Bell to conceal her soul-beast aura, allowing her to accompany the party safely. He then accepts her as his disciple, and Bibi Dong welcomes her as a junior sister 33.

Entering Human Society

Xiao Wu leaves the forest for the first time with her injured mother and Spirit Hall’s elders.
