Background / History

Xu Yang grew up in the Seven Treasure Third Orphanage, where director Ning Que regarded him as unusually mature, studious, and capable of enduring intensive learning. Before awakening his Martial Soul, Xu Yang had already researched Soul Masters, Soul Beasts, and Spirit theory in preparation for his future cultivation. 1 2

At his Spirit Awakening, he obtained the Sun Martial Soul and near-Innate Full Soul Power. Recognizing that his Spirit required compatible fire- and light-attribute Soul Rings, he selected the Sun Flower for its ability to gather Sun Power and accelerate cultivation.
