"Lane, did that Arctic blizzard freeze your brain? Aliens? Laser eyes? Are you going to tell me he flies around in a red cape next?!"

Editor-in-chief Perry and Lois were locked in a heated argument over the alien spacecraft incident in the Arctic.

"He doesn't just wear a red cape. He has a huge S on his chest, too!"

Lois Lane slammed both hands onto Perry White's desk, making the coffee cup on it rattle.

"Enough!"

Perry shot to his feet and hurled the draft titled "God of the Arctic: Humanity Is Not Alone" into Lois's face. Pages scattered across the floor.

"I'm a newspaper editor, not a science fiction publisher! The military has already called me three times to warn me you stole classified information from a restricted military zone!"

"That's because they're covering up the truth!" Lois glared back without backing down, pointing to the burn scar on her thigh where the stitches had just been removed.

"An alien machine gave me this wound! And that man tore it into scrap metal with his bare hands! I saw it myself!"

"Where are the photos?" Perry sneered, holding out a hand. "Aren't you the Pulitzer Prize winner who claims she never comes back empty-handed? Put a high-resolution shot of that red-caped alien's face on my desk, and I'll give you tomorrow's front-page headline!"

Lois clenched her teeth, her hands tightening into fists.

She had a photo. The shot of his back in that dim corridor was still on her DSLR. But she couldn't show it. Once that picture got out, the military and the NSA-the National Security Agency-would hunt him across the globe like rabid dogs.

"I... the photo came out blurry," Lois forced out through gritted teeth.

"Then shut up!" Perry pointed at the office door and roared,
