The moment Yang Ming finished speaking, more than a dozen guns poked out from behind the iron railing on the club's second floor.

Bang, bang, bang, bang-!

Muzzle flames flashed.

The mirror ball above the dance floor shattered under the gunfire, scattering glass across the floor.

Jessica wasn't here, and Yang Ming had no interest in catching bullets with his face. He slid forward, darting along the bar, then planted his right hand on its edge and vaulted into the air.

Bullets grazed past his suit.

"I just changed into this suit."

Yang Ming landed and reached out to grab a metal barstool.

Armament Haki coated his arm.

He hurled the barstool toward the second floor in a dark blur.

A broad section of the iron railing caved inward.

Three gunmen toppled over the railing, guns and all, and crashed onto the dance floor without so much as a groan.

On the other side, Batman had already charged into the crowd.

He wasted no time on flashy moves.

One punch broke a gunman's wrist. An elbow drove into a second man's jaw. Then he turned, seized a third by the collar, and slammed him against the wall.

Bang!

The wall tiles cracked.

The thug slid to the floor and spat out two bloody teeth.

"Fuck! Batman!"

"Didn't they say he only catches thieves at night?!"

"It is night, isn't it?!"

One man had barely finished shouting when a Batarang sliced through his gun's sling.

Yang Ming glanced over.

"You're slower than yesterday."

Bruce kicked an oncoming brute away. "You're talking more than yesterday."

"Likewise."

At the far end of the hall, the heavy mahogany door to a private room finally opened.

Tony Zucco walked out slowly,
