"Who are you?"
Snart stood in front of the SUV, not raising the Cold Gun right away.
He stared at Yang Ming.
A black suit, gold-rimmed glasses, and a medical examiner's briefcase in his hand.
Nothing about that outfit belonged at a highway robbery.
Yang Ming glanced at Barry, frozen beside the guardrail.
His red costume was already covered in frost.
White frost clung to Barry's eyelashes, and the rise and fall of his chest was growing weaker.
Two more minutes of this.
The cold would suppress his heart and lung function, and his nerve conduction would start failing.
Even if he survived, the lasting damage would give him plenty to suffer through.
"Me?"
Yang Ming adjusted his glasses.
"The new medical examiner at the Central City Police Department."
Snart raised an eyebrow.
"The police issue bulletproof suits to medical examiners now?"
"No."
Yang Ming stepped forward.
"But my colleagues in Central City are far too good at getting into trouble."
"Especially the one in red."
He stopped ten meters from Snart.
"I was just here to pick him up after work."
"And while I'm here, a word of advice: stealing diamonds is fine."
"Don't freeze people alive on the highway. It holds up traffic."
The robbers froze for a moment.
Then they laughed.
A bald robber carrying a heavy machine gun spat.
"Boss, is this guy here to crack ice jokes?"
"A medical examiner?"
"Want to book your own autopsy first?"
Snart didn't laugh.
Anyone who stepped out at a time like this was either insane.
Or genuinely confident.
And the doctor in front of him clearly didn't look insane.
"You know The Flash."
Snart slowly raised the Cold Gun.
"Then you should also know."
"People who stick their noses into other people's business usually die fast."
"I know."
