Fury's Communicator rang.
"The second carrier has regained lift and is descending toward the river channel," Hill said over the alarms. "Rogers has secured the bridge. Rumlow is in custody. His left shoulder is dislocated, and he's still swearing."
Yang Ming folded the bill.
"Tell him to save his strength. Someone will be taking his statement soon."
"Pierce isn't in the building," Hill continued. "Three armored cars are missing from the underground garage."
Tony looked up.
"He's making a run for it."
Fury had already opened his terminal. An evacuation route flashed onto the screen, followed by a feed from the building's internal surveillance cameras that hadn't yet been disconnected.
Pierce stood in front of a freight elevator, staring at the tablet in a guard's hands.
