Yang Ming treated Tony Stark, negotiated emergency terms with S.H.I.E.L.D., and sent Bruce back to Gotham with a reactor that could power armor against Superman. Meanwhile, Dave became Nightlight, Captain America was found, and an Asgardian confrontation at the clinic ended with Thor choosing Jane and staying to work off his debt.

• Yang Ming defeated the Kryptonian warriors, survived the Black Zero’s attack, and escaped to Hell’s Kitchen with Bruce and Dave, where Retsu Unohana healed him.
• Yang Ming and his companions visited Tony Stark in Monaco, where Ivan Vanko attacked the race before Retsu Unohana subdued him and took his reactor.
• Retsu Unohana cured Tony’s palladium poisoning, and Bruce returned to Gotham with Ivan’s reactor to begin developing armor capable of facing Superman.
• Yang Ming rejected the Avengers Initiative but agreed to provide S.H.I.E.L.D. emergency combat, rescue, and medical services under his own terms.
• Dave secretly became Nightlight and helped Spider-Man, Frank, Matt, Big Daddy, and Hit-Girl defeat Frank D’Amico’s ambush at Warehouse 13.
• Maria Hill’s team found Captain America alive beneath the ice, while Frigga, Sif, and the Warriors Three traveled to Midgard after Loki complained about her clinic contract.
• Jessica Jones and Retsu Unohana stopped the Asgardians from attacking Yang Ming, and Frigga made Loki face her neglected duties.
• Thor stopped Sif from attacking Jane, declared his love for Jane, and chose to stay at the clinic to work off his debt.

Yang Ming helped Bruce Wayne establish a school for Gotham’s poor children while the Court of Owls tried to stop the project and kill them. After Yang Ming defeated the Court’s Talons, the Court abandoned its labyrinth, and Haly’s Circus arrived in Gotham under threat from a gang.

• Frigga sealed Loki’s magic, ordered Thor and Loki to serve their contracts without Asgard’s help, and left them in Yang Ming’s care.
• Steve Rogers escaped his staged hospital room, learned that it was 2011, and accepted Nick Fury’s Avengers invitation before Yang Ming warned him that Hydra had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.
• At the Stark Expo, Ivan Vanko turned the Iron Soldiers against Tony Stark and the crowd, so Yang Ming’s crew fought the robots while Peter Parker rescued civilians and Yang Ming later captured Ivan.
• Yang Ming brought Ivan to Gotham, where Bruce studied his reactor and paid Yang Ming before proposing a free school for Gotham’s poor children.
• Bruce made Yang Ming principal of the school planned for Lake Street, and Yang Ming moved the clinic’s residents and Jason Todd’s children to the Wayne Royal Hotel.
• The Court of Owls ordered its Talons to destroy the school project and kill Yang Ming, but Yang Ming caught an assassin at the hotel while the other Talons planted bombs at the construction site.
• Yang Ming rescued Bruce from the Talons, sent their bombs offshore, and identified the Court of Owls as the enemy behind the attacks.
• The Court ordered its members to abandon their labyrinth, while a gang threatened Haly’s Circus after it arrived in Gotham and Dick Grayson feared the gangsters would target the performers.

Yang Ming thwarted the Court of Owls’ attempt to stop his school project, then went to Central City and trained Barry Allen while helping him confront metahumans and criminals. The story left Barry and Oliver trapped in an exploding chemical plant after Reverse-Flash helped Roy Bivolo and George Harkness prepare an ambush.

• Yang Ming and Batman exposed Tony Zucco’s sabotage of the Flying Graysons, recovered evidence of his crimes, and sent him and his henchmen to the police.
• Yang Ming confronted the Court of Owls’ hold over Gotham, forced Director Elwin to revoke the school’s stop-work order, and refused Mayor Hamilton’s offer to join the Court.
• After Hamilton detonated his suicide vest and Yang Ming was arrested, Emily’s testimony cleared him, and Yang Ming left Gotham in Retsu Unohana’s care.
• Yang Ming joined the Central City Police Department, identified Barry Allen as the speedster, and killed Kyle Nimbus after rescuing Barry and Joe West from his attack.
• Yang Ming rescued Barry from Captain Cold, admitted he wanted Barry’s help and friendship, and trained him to fight with precision and use ordinary objects as weapons.
• Barry used Yang Ming’s lessons to defeat Tony Woodward, while Yang Ming recognized Doctor Wells as Eobard Thawne and chose not to expose him.
• Yang Ming supported Barry’s collaboration with Oliver Queen, then coached Barry during their duel, which ended in a draw as Joe warned Oliver that Central City had a no-killing rule.
• Yang Ming traced Roy Bivolo and George Harkness to the Carmine chemical plant, while Reverse-Flash supplied Roy with a prism and an explosion trapped Barry and Oliver inside.

Yang Ming helped Barry expose Eobard Thawne and resist his offer to change the past, then brought Hal Jordan into the Green Lantern Corps’ fight against Parallax. The arc ended with Yang Ming arriving in Fawcett City and intervening when Billy Batson was bullied.

• Yang Ming rescued Barry and Oliver from Harkness’s explosion, then fought off Reverse-Flash and helped Barry recover while Joe investigated Harrison Wells.
• Joe and Yang Ming uncovered that Wells was Eobard Thawne, and Barry followed clues that led Thawne to offer him a chance to save Nora Allen.
• Barry traveled back to the night Nora died, chose not to change the past, and returned to help Yang Ming and Cisco contain Thawne.
• Yang Ming left Central City for Coast City, where Abin Sur’s Green Lantern Ring chose him before he arranged for Hal Jordan to receive it.
• Hal traveled to Oa, struggled with his fear during training, and returned to Earth despite the Ring warning him to avoid Yang Ming.
• Yang Ming showed Hal Parallax destroying a planet, and Hal overcame his fear by saving a ship and its 342 passengers before deciding to return to Oa.
• Yang Ming went to Fawcett High School, stopped Brett and his companions from bullying Freddy Freeman, and told Freddy he was a doctor.
