Shen Zhizhi held a cake with Gu Luosheng's name written on it.
Jiang Xingchen walked past.
She had already gone by, but doubled back when she spotted the cake.
"Are you... a fan of Gu Luosheng?" Jiang Xingchen asked.
Shen Zhizhi nodded emphatically. "Can I go inside?"
Jiang Xingchen scoffed. "No."
"You don't recognize me?" Jiang Xingchen felt indignant. Why did Gu Luosheng's fans camp outside the production crew's gates every day, while nobody paid her any attention?
"No." Shen Zhizhi blinked and answered honestly, "Should I?"
That last question left Jiang Xingchen practically aching with anger.
"I'm Jiang Xingchen!" She simply introduced herself.
"Oh." Shen Zhizhi gave a cool nod.
"You've never heard of me? I used to be an A-list star. I've been in loads of productions." Jiang Xingchen was about to lose her mind. Even after all that, this girl still hadn't recognized her.
"Sorry, I'm not interested in your shows. I'm only a fan of Sister Sheng." As soon as Shen Zhizhi finished, several fans behind her chimed in. "Yes, exactly! I'm a loyal fan of Sister Sheng too."
"I never followed celebrities before, but Sister Sheng is different..."

Jiang Xingchen pressed between her brows and slowly exhaled. Stay calm. Stay calm.
"Then just wait here." Jiang Xingchen huffed and walked away in her high heels.
After just two steps, Jiang Xingchen turned back again. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. That Sister Sheng you all worship is very busy right now. She probably won't have time to bother with you."
