That evening, at the gym.
Gu Luosheng wore a set of workout clothes.
The outfit was fitted, hugging her body and making her figure look even better.
She had curves in all the right places, and her body was toned.
Anyone who saw her would find it hard not to sneak a few extra looks.
Ye Nanshen's gaze darkened. He took off his roomy tracksuit jacket and slipped it over Gu Luosheng. "The temperature's low inside. It's a little cold, so keep this on for now."
Ye Nanshen had grabbed whatever excuse came to mind.
But he realized that... after Gu Luosheng put it on, she seemed... to have gained a languid air.
She looked even... prettier.
Ye Nanshen pressed his fingers between his brows.
I can't take this. I really can't.
"What's wrong?" Gu Luosheng asked when she saw that Ye Nanshen had stopped walking and looked troubled.
Ye Nanshen took a deep breath. "Nothing. I was just wondering if... we should skip it and go straight home?"
That would never do, as far as Gu Luosheng was concerned.
"We've already changed into our gear, and we just spent so much money. What a waste it would be not to go now. Let's at least take a look." Gu Luosheng tugged at his sleeve, coaxing him.
"You want to go that badly?" Ye Nanshen asked, perfectly composed.
Gu Luosheng nodded emphatically. "Yes. I really do."
Ye Nanshen knew what Shengsheng was up to.
A smile played on his lips.
"Besides, we wouldn't know what to do if we went home this early. We might as well get some exercise." Gu Luosheng looked completely earnest, speaking as though... she really planned to work out later.
