Three somewhat uneasy figures stood before Uchiha Yao.

This was the first official gathering of Uchiha Yao's squad.

The atmosphere was subtly tense.

Rin, Tetsu, and Kai were all filled with apprehension and excitement.

They had never dreamed that insignificant "outsiders" like themselves within the clan would be chosen by this rising genius!

Uchiha Yao's gaze was sharp as an eagle's, slowly sweeping across each of their faces.

"Starting today, you are members of my Uchiha Yao squad."

"Yes, Captain!" The three answered in unison, almost instinctively.

Uchiha Yao nodded.

"I don't care what you were like in the Police Force before, nor do I care how others viewed you."

Uchiha Yao paused, his tone growing firmer:

"Since you've joined my squad, the first thing you must remember—and the most important thing—is—"

"You will obey my orders without question!"

"In my squad, my word is the rule!"

"No mission, no operation—my orders are not to be questioned, defied, or delayed!"

"Even if I order you to die, you must carry it out without hesitation!"

"Can you do that?!"

The final three words boomed like thunder!

The three were utterly cowed by his overwhelming presence and unquestionable authority!

They had no doubt that if they said no, this young captain before them would throw them out of the squad without hesitation.

"Yes!"

The three spoke as one.

Uchiha Yao slowly withdrew his pressure.

Rin, Tetsu, and Kai immediately felt the weight lift from them. They all began gasping for air, their backs already soaked in cold sweat.

This young captain was far more forceful—and far more domineering—than they had imagined!

"I didn't form this squad to coast along in the Police Force, much less to use you as cannon fodder."

"My goal is to make this squad the strongest elite squad in the Uchiha Clan! To let every member possess strength beyond their peers, even beyond anything you once imagined possible!"

"As long as you are loyal to me, train hard, and complete your missions."

"I will personally guide your training, provide you with the best resources, and let you grow as quickly as possible!"

Anyone could make grand promises, but Uchiha Yao's promises could truly be fulfilled!

To make his words more convincing, a bloody gleam flashed in Uchiha Yao's eyes!

"Captain, y-you're actually proficient in Lightning Release as well?" Uchiha Kai asked with a stammer.
