Annihilating Root's Elite Jonin, the Powerful Uchiha Yao!

Uchiha Yao's chest heaved violently. The glow of Lightning Release Chakra Mode was no longer as fierce as it had been at the start, now slightly dim.

Blood gushed from several new wounds, staining Uchiha Yao's clothes red.

The Root jonin's desperate counterattacks before death had ultimately left quite a few wounds on Uchiha Yao.

One of them was Snake, who had attempted to use genjutsu earlier and suffered a devastating backlash.

Snake's eyes were blurred with bloody tears, his breath weak. He was clearly at the end of his rope.

The other two, codenamed Dog and Wolf, stood back to back, gasping for breath. Their hands trembled slightly as they gripped their weapons, and their eyes were filled with terror as they looked at Uchiha Yao.

Dog's voice was steeped in despair.

They had thought that with nine elite jonin deployed, success might not have been guaranteed, but failure should have been impossible. How strong could some twelve-year-old Uchiha brat be? Yet now, Uchiha Yao had slaughtered nine of them until only three remained.

The three remaining Root ninja had completely lost their will to fight.

Lightning-nature Chakra within Uchiha Yao boiled once more. He forcibly activated Lightning Release Chakra Mode, his speed soaring to its limit as he became a blurred afterimage and instantly caught up to Dog, who was trying to flee!

Snake was the next target.

Snake let out an unwilling roar, brandishing the short blade in his hand as he launched his final counterattack.

He closed in with incredible speed, the kunai in his hand drawing a cold arc as it sliced precisely across Snake's carotid artery.

Snake clutched his neck and fell powerlessly to his knees. His eyes brimmed with endless regret before he finally lowered his head in resentment.

The last target was the Root jonin codenamed Wolf.

He had already disappeared from Uchiha Yao's sight.

But with the system, how could Uchiha Yao possibly let the Root jonin who had come to assassinate him escape?

System target-location lock updated.

The system's cold prompt sounded in his mind, clearly marking the direction in which Wolf had fled.

And he had taken out nine elite Root jonin in one go.

Even Danzo, with all his resources, would probably ache over such losses for a long time!

Uchiha Yao raised his head toward the direction of Konoha, his eyes burning with raging fury.

"Danzo! Just wait! Your death is not far off. When that time comes, no one will be able to save you—not even the Sage of Six Paths. I said it!"
