At the center of the examination grounds, the atmosphere was grave to the extreme.

Uchiha Tekka, a renowned jonin and captain of the Police Force, was sizing up the boy across from him with great interest.

Uchiha Yao was only twelve years old, yet he exuded a composure and sharpness far beyond his age. His pair of blood-red One-Tomoe Sharingan gleamed with a chilling light.

"Kid, are you ready?" Uchiha Tekka asked in a deep voice. He showed no trace of contempt because of Yao's age.

That masterful Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique earlier had already been enough for him to regard Yao as a true opponent.

The moment Uchiha Tekka finished speaking, he vanished from where he stood!

A massive fireball condensed to the extreme burst from his mouth and met Tekka's attack head-on!

"Cheap tricks!"

Uchiha Tekka snorted coldly. Faced with the Great Fireball rushing at him, he neither dodged nor retreated. He clenched his right fist, and chakra erupted violently!

Uchiha Tekka actually shattered the immensely powerful Great Fireball with a single punch!

A colossal flaming dragon, larger and fiercer than Uchiha Yao's, surged from Tekka's mouth and slammed viciously into Yao's fire dragon!

On the third day after the assessment ended, Uchiha Yao officially put on the black uniform of the Uchiha Police Force.
