Amid a stretch of chaos, Sean and Hongmeng stood facing each other.
Hongmeng looked around and said with a smile, "This is the chaotic state of your new universe. There's nothing here, yet it is filled with boundless energy. You need to establish laws to transform that energy into matter, life, souls, and so on. Then, you can create a new universe according to your wishes."
"I plan to first create a universe similar to your Magic Universe," Sean suddenly said.
Hongmeng asked in surprise, "A Magic Universe? That would work. You have no experience, so imitating one isn't a bad idea. But it seems you intend to alter some of the Laws of the World?"
"Yes, I have a few ideas." Sean nodded. "But I'm not entirely certain yet. Creating a universe will take a long time anyway, so I can create it while figuring out what kind of Laws of the World I should establish."
Back when he had been in the Panlong Universe, he had felt that many of the Laws of the World seemed rather unfair.
Of course, the Laws of the World themselves had no need to consider fairness. Living beings were inherently unequal; ordinary races simply could not compare to God-Devouring Rats.
Still, he hoped the universe he created could be more balanced in every respect. That would make it more interesting as well.
In any case, it was all for fun. He could tinker with it however he pleased. If the first one turned out poorly, he could simply create another. To a lifeform capable of creating universes, none of it really mattered.
Hongmeng smiled. "Good. Then I'll watch from the side. This will be my first time observing someone else create a universe."
"You're very welcome," Sean said with a faint smile.
