In the Northern Frontier, Miya suddenly looked up while fishing for whales with a rod. The little azure flower beside Miya blossomed as well, as though it, too, was gazing in a certain direction.
"You felt it too, didn't you?"
"That's its presence."
The platinum aura of the Ring of Radiance had already appeared involuntarily behind Miya's head. Miya took a deep breath. "Regalen's Box. Like us, it is a Sept-Terrion of the three upper attributes: space, time, and mirage. It is complete."
The Spirit Intelligence Grass swayed gently, giving off peculiar mental fluctuations that seemed to carry resentment and a trace of fear-in the days when the Merfolk Tribe had relied on the Sept-Terrion of Mirage to remain in the Astral Plane, they had suffered a devastating blow from the Sept-Terrion of Time.
Within those looping worlds, recorded and frozen in time, the Sept-Terrion of Mirage had needed to fulfill those people's endless wishes. To do so, it had needed to understand desire, ultimately leading to its self-destruction.
Though it was all in the past, remembering it still hurt. That was why the Merfolk Tribe had never gotten along with the Sacred Spring Trade Guild.
Although the Ring of Radiance knew nothing of this, Miya knew that suppressing the Sept-Terrion of Time with its own abilities was almost impossible. It needed the Sept-Terrion of Mirage's help.
The Sept-Terrion of Mirage was naturally willing to help. She did have some questions she wanted answered.
And so, the merfolk stared in bewilderment as the Azure Great Tree, surrounded by two temples, began to shine, drawing in the mana their tribe had accumulated over who knew how long.
That vast quantity of mana truly could nourish an entire ocean!
Mihail, the Merfolk King, could not help reaching out. "Deity, Void God... what
